# Credits and plans: understanding Orem's billing system

> Learn how Orem credits are consumed per action, what each plan includes, how annual billing saves 17%, and how to earn bonus credits.

Credits are Orem's currency for AI generation. Every time you create a track, beat, piece of artwork, or run a mastering job, a small number of credits are deducted from your monthly balance. Your plan determines how many credits you receive at the start of each billing cycle, and unused credits do not roll over to the next month.

## Credit costs per action

| Action                          | Credit cost  |
| ------------------------------- | ------------ |
| AI track generation (per track) | \~25 credits |
| Beat generation                 | \~25 credits |
| Cover song                      | 20 credits   |
| Sing over instrumental          | 20 credits   |
| Mastering                       | 15 credits   |
| Stem extraction                 | 15 credits   |
| Artwork generation              | 5 credits    |
| Voice changer                   | 10 credits   |
| Vocal Music Studio track        | 10 credits   |
| Voiceover clip                  | 5 credits    |

<Note>
  AI track and beat generation each produce two versions — V1 and V2 — as part of a single generation job. The credit cost shown above covers both versions together.
